Helen A Woldemichael is born and raised in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Where she started serving the Seventh-day Adventist Church as a music director prior to moving to U.S. in 2008.

Helen joined the Maplewood Academy team in the fall of 2017. She is conductor of the general Choir, Choraliers (selected group), and Maplewood Bell Choir. She holds Master of Music in Choral conducting degree from Andrews University and Bachelor of Arts in Music Degree from Addis Ababa University Yared School of Music. She has several years of musical experience as a Conductor, music educator, and Performer. In her music endeavors, her main aim is to glorify God through excellence in music and worship.

Helen enjoys soccer, swimming, Ping pong, traveling and learning about new cultures.
