Campus Ministries

Maplewood Academy supports an active campus ministries program whose goal is to provide each student with the opportunity to draw nearer to Jesus and participate in ministries serving Him. The Campus Ministries Team is made up of students and staff who have a desire to develop meaningful spiritual programming on our campus that helps point our young people to Jesus. Students have the opportunity to participate in:

 

• Small Group Bible Studies

• Week of Prayer

• Music/Worship/Drama Teams

• Mission Trips

• Local Area Church Worships

• Outreach Activities

• Community Service Projects

• Prayer Groups

• Spiritual Retreats/Bible Conferences

 

Mission Trips

 

Maplewood Academy students have the opportunity to participate in mission trips each year. The trips alternate between international and domestic locations and include such places as Puerto Rico, Texas, Belize, and Arizona. We work on construction projects, church outreach, children's ministry, school weeks of prayer, and medical clinics. Staff members, parents of students, local church members, and alumni participate with the students which foster good relationships and create lasting memories. Each student is responsible for covering the costs of these trips. These mission trips are meaningful and important experiences for our students as they learn to be the "hands and feet" of Jesus in this world that is in great need.
